The Gendarmerie de Saint-Martin organized, on Monday 18, Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 June, joint road checks with the territorial police and made new, with their counterparts on the Dutch side.
130 vehicles were physically inspected in the Hope Estate and Approval areas and at the Tourist Office roundabout.
- 70 owners were summoned for presentation within a week with the vehicle in order. In case of no show the owner will be fined.
- 5 offenses for lack of driving license noted (3 light vehicles and 2 motorcycles).
- 4 insurance failures were identified
- 1 not wearing a seat belt.
