At the initiative of Jocelyn Clémente, manager of SMEC, the 1st edition of the SMEC Building Fair took place last week at Hope Estate. A new meeting in the economic landscape of Saint-Martin which brought together around 450 people and 22 exhibitors over two days. A real success!
From building professionals to architects, including developers and the general public, the 1st edition of the SMEC Building Fair was a real and clear success. “Initially, we had to organize two“ Open Doors ”days with our partner suppliers,” says Jocelyn Clémente, manager of the SMEC company located in Hope Estate. “But faced with the pessimism that reigned in the building sector in recent weeks, I preferred to contact all the building trades. On arrival, everyone responded, including the overseas manager in climatic engineering and this is where the 1st edition of the SMEC building fair was born!
The opportunity for us and all those involved in this show to present new products, new technologies to reduce energy consumption in homes or buildings, especially in electricity!
In Saint-Martin, we have great progress to make in this area. Hence the interest in making new technologies known for optimize energy efficiency in homes. Yes, there are new materials in Saint-Martin at very affordable prices which bring a certain profitability in terms of energy savings ”.
The general public and construction professionals were able to realize this during this 1st edition which will call for others! _AF
