The lieutenant-colonel chief of the Gendarmerie decided to lift the checkpoints on Sandy Ground and its surroundings yesterday because of the return to calm. The gendarmes nevertheless continue to monitor this area.
Note that traffic is slightly slowed down until this weekend because the road that crosses Sandy-Ground is being renovated with the installation of a brand new asphalt pavement.
