On our territory, we observe a recent recrudescence of clinically suggestive cases of bronchiolitis, respiratory infection of the small bronchi. The seasonal epidemic is however over, but the situation should be monitored, according to the latest health watch bulletin (BVS) from the Antilles-Guyana interregional epidemiology unit (CIRE). The weekly number of consultations is back above the maximum values with nine visits in week 16, says the bulletin. In Saint-Barthélemy, the situation is similar with an increase in clinically suggestive cases. A visit to the emergency room was also recorded in week 15. CIRE recommends that the population continue with reinforced hygiene measures._EH
