Until March 31, 2020, travel is prohibited throughout the country except in the following cases and only on condition that you have a personal derogatory certificate:

- Go to your place of work if teleworking is not possible;

- Make essential purchases in local shops authorized to remain open;

- go to your doctor;

- Travel for childcare or to help vulnerable people with the strict condition of respecting barrier gestures;

- Take the air, especially with your children, only individually and around the home without any gathering

The personal derogatory certificate must be completed directly by the individual who wishes to go out. It can be downloaded from the website and Facebook page of the Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. People who do not have a printer can copy this certificate by hand. This derogatory document must be re-filled each time you leave.

Failure to comply with these rules is currently punishable by a fine of € 135.

Reminder of barrier gestures:

• wash your hands regularly

• cough and sneeze into your elbow

• use disposable tissues

• greet without shaking hands and avoid kissing

• call 15 if symptoms and stay at home

• wear a mask if you are sick
