The standoff continues between the management of Pôle Emploi and the staff of Pôle Emploi agencies located in Guadeloupe, Marie-Galante and Saint-Martin.
Yesterday, the doors of the agency in Saint-Martin remained closed to the public. Let us recall that the agents of Saint-Martin, in solidarity with their Guadeloupean colleagues, take advantage of this movement to highlight the specific demands of the agency of Pôle Emploi Saint-Martin. They demand in particular:
• 1.Certification of all CCDs (number of 6 CDDs at Pôle emploi de Saint-Martin).
• 2.Decrease in the workload of the agents through the reduction of the size of the portfolios.
• 3. Recognition of languages (English, Spanish and Creole).
• 4.Payment of travel expenses for agents and simplification of administrative procedures.
• 5.Resolution of the individual situations of colleagues: colleagues in great pain at work.
• 6.Setting up solutions for problems related to insecurity.
• 7.Taking into account the agents' suffering.
• 8.Application of the recommendations of occupational medicine.
In a statement received yesterday by the strikers, the management did not wish to continue the negotiations started on October 20.
The situation is still at a standstill, with each side camping out on its positions. _AF
