Boating: Friends boaters, access to Tintamarre is regulated!

0

Since 2010, in Tintamarre, at a place called "Baie Blanche", vessels of less than 10 meters are tolerated at anchor, "exclusively on the sand".

A safety distance of 20 meters is required from the beach for the safety of bathers. The use of anchors in seagrass beds (sea turtle feeding area) is not tolerated and is subject to sanctions. Night anchorages that have not been declared to the manager of the Saint-Martin Nature Reserve are also prohibited.

In Tintamarre on the water and on the beach, the tranquility of the place is required and noise disturbances (loud music in particular) are prohibited. If necessary, they are subject to sanctions.

Bivouacs and bonfires (outside the 4 zones provided for this purpose) are prohibited.

Given the high attendance at the sites and the damage observed since the end of confinement, the bivouacs are now subject to an authorization request from the manager of the Saint-Martin nature reserve who manages the agenda for the occupation of the beach for bivouacs.

The presence of unauthorized bivouacs and outside the planned areas is subject to sanctions.

Clay sampling and mud baths are also prohibited.

Commercial activities which have not been the subject of an authorization issued by the administrations concerned (Directorate of the Sea and Manager of the Natural Reserve of Saint-Martin) are prohibited.

Commercial activities which do not offer passenger coaching for the discovery of the land and sea are also prohibited, as well as nocturnal commercial activities.
