The new representative of the rector of the academy of Guadeloupe in the Northern Islands, Michel Sanz, raised last week a certain number of subjects with the members of the Collectivity, announced the COM.
Michel Sanz was able to discuss with the 1st Vice-President Guillaume Arnell, the 4th Vice-President in charge of the Territorial Fund for School Works (CTOS) Rosette Gumbs-Lake, the Director General of Services (DGS) Philippe Million and the directors of the Collectivity in charge of education, cooperation and school works. Among the topics discussed: the start of the new school year, the recruitment of contract teachers, the central kitchen and cooperation with the Dutch side. The COM emphasizes that Mr. Arnell took advantage of this meeting to ask Mr. Sanz to "perpetuate the teaching of tourism in college and extend it to high school, just like teaching theater". As for Philippe Million, he presented the Rector's representative with the Saint-Martin city contract, which will be signed in early November.
