It was with weather conditions bordering on perfection that the Mont Vernon Pitchouns school welcomed and launched, last Sunday, the first edition of the “Pitchouns market”.
Thirteen exhibitors therefore gathered there to offer their creations or products, the specificity of which is that they are 100% Saint-Martin. Also on the program, diversity and originality, all orchestrated with sincere consistency.
The public responded and delighted in the products available with, among others: local crafts with Nelly which gives a second life to the wood that she finds on the island, magic syrups and delicious jams but also cosmetic products. and natural and zero waste household items at the Jus en Folie stand, cookies and other homemade delicacies, Gérard's black garlic, ornamental, aromatic plants with medicinal properties, not to mention those giving life to certain fruits and vegetables .
And to contain these plants, the school stand offered pretty jars made with recycled bottles and painted by kindergarten students whose profits from the sale will be donated to the fundraiser in order to acquire a bouncy castle to complete the garden of Pitchouns. If you missed this adorable market, it will now take place on a monthly basis, and it will still be free, both for visitors and for exhibitors. See you next month._VX
