Former technical advisor to the Saint-Martin Football League prosecuted for hidden work

The criminal court of Saint-Martin also examined last Thursday a hidden work file involving the former technical advisor in the Saint-Martin football league between April 2018 and September 2019.

By analyzing the accounts of the league, the French football federation (FFF) realizes that the association has signed a contract for the provision of services with David Baltase so that he can train the seniors. However, the FFF already hired him in April 2018 as a technical advisor to support the league in promoting and developing the practice of football after Irma, a fixed-term contract including an exclusivity clause.

But what is criticized for David Baltase is that he did not declare to the tax authorities the income from his contract for the provision of services, ie 1 euros per month. He is therefore prosecuted for concealed work and the president of the league for recourse to concealed work.

His lawyer set out to demonstrate that his client was not outside the law at the time of the investigation. She indicated that her client had until June to declare her income for the year 2018 and that this deadline was not exceeded when the concealment was alleged.

The prosecution requested a two-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1 euros.

The judgment was reserved for October 24. (soualigapost.com)
