The senatorial overseas delegation assessed the situation of the building and public works (BTP) sector with regard to technical standards, as part of its multi-year study on the assessment of the normative framework of various key economic sectors for overseas -sea. At the end of June, the information report "Overseas construction at the foot of the normative wall: turning an obstacle into an asset" by Eric Doligé, Karine Claireaux and Vivette Lopez was presented to the press. The document details “35 concrete proposals drawn up on the basis of around a hundred testimonies collected from local and national actors” with the aim of “putting an end to crippling anomalies, promoting local resources and innovative approaches”. _EH
