04Overseas Minister Annick Girardin recently announced that the “Digital Territorial Continuity for the Overseas” plan will be operational this month, piloted by the Digital Agency as part of the France Very High Speed ​​Plan. The overseas territories concerned by this system are Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte and Guyana. This plan “aims to neutralize the additional costs related to the transport of Internet data between overseas and international connection points, in order to improve the quality of service of overseas Internet users”, indicates the Ministry of overseas, stating that the State is mobilizing 50 million euros for this system. _EH
