The numbers speak for themselves: Americans love our island. In 2014, the Saint-Martin Tourist Office noted a 9,14% increase in the number of passengers coming from the United States, compared to 2013. But the competition is fierce, especially since last July with the historic merger of Cuba and the United States, cold since 1961. A new agreement, signed yesterday between the two countries, could well change the habits of this American clientele: this agreement authorizes up to 110 daily scheduled flights between the two territories. Air links are expected to start next summer. An attendance to watch closely.
