On February 10, he was sentenced by the local court of Saint-Martin to a sentence of 18 months in prison, six of which were accompanied by a probationary suspension of 2 years including the obligation to follow care and work.

At the beginning of June, MC was again arrested by the gendarmes; he is suspected of a new sexual assault in another neighborhood.

One morning, a young woman is sleeping in her room when she hears a noise. She finds herself facing a man whose penis is erect. He asks her to touch it and manages to stroke her. Frightened, the young woman manages to get out of her room, tries to call for help but the individual grabs her cell phone, threatens to kill her and grabs a kitchen knife. The neighbors are alerted by the screams. The attacker fled.

The gendarmes arrive a few minutes later. The first elements of the investigation direct them to MC whom they call in Grand Case. He partially acknowledges the facts but minimizes them. He was again placed in pre-trial detention and summoned for an immediate appearance before the local court of Saint-Martin on June 9.

At the hearing, the two lawyers (of the defendant and of the civil party) requested a referral of the case so that additional information can be provided.

Although the prosecution decided that the case could be tried as it stood on June 9, the court returned the case. He ordered the referral of an examining magistrate and the opening of a judicial investigation so that the psychological expertise of the victim is carried out, a new hearing of the defendant (he will have to specify his intentions with the kitchen knife) , the hearing of the neighbor who had filed a handrail, the reconstruction of the facts and the DNA comparison with all the unsolved cases of a sexual nature    in recent years in Saint-Martin.
