The Compagnons Bâtisseurs de Saint-Martin are attacking the month of August in force with two new workshops, the theme of which is "how to coat a wall with plaster or placo".
In the continuity of providing training, support and experience in the field of construction and repair in order to help the Saint-Martin population as closely as possible, which would face housing problems and poor quality thereof , the Compagnons Bâtisseurs have decided to concentrate their workshops in the first half of August on a simple but essential basis, which is plaster. Coating a wall not only protects it but gives it a worked appearance, and then smoothes it out and standardizes this appearance. It is an essential step in the renovation which certainly has its place in Saint Martin: waterproof walls that we take care of will increase the durability of your home. The first workshop will take place this Tuesday, August 3 from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of the Jérôme Beaupère school at Sandy Ground. The second workshop will take place on Thursday August 5, again from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., but this time at the Compagnons Bâtisseurs workshop located at the Residence La Palmeraie (Building 8) in Quartier d'Orléans.
