JUSTICE: 80 hours of community service for another man on the dams

On November 19, another Saint-Martinois, LB aged 20, had gone before the same court for similar acts committed in Quartier d'Orléans a week earlier, on November 5.

This day, the gendarmes were traveling on the RN 7 when they saw a car turn around and an individual standing on pallets placed in the middle of the road. At the sight of the soldiers, the individual fled but was quickly caught up and arrested.

During his hearing, he denied having stored the pallets, blocked traffic and watched the roadblock. He claimed that on the contrary, he helped motorists to pass by clearing objects from the side of the road.

His absence from the hearing was regretted by the court, which sentenced him to 80 hours of community service; the prosecutor had requested five months in prison.(soualigapost.com)
