Many Saint-Martin taxpayers received a letter from the General Directorate of Public Finance, dated June 8, 2023, asking them to declare the occupation of built real estate, individuals and legal persons, on the online service "Manage my real estate”, under article 1418 of the general national tax code.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin and its Public Finance Center (CFP) would like to point out that due to the tax autonomy of Saint-Martin, there is no reporting obligation for buildings held in Saint-Martin.
On the other hand, the owners of buildings located outside Saint-Martin are required to declare the obligation on the site "Manage my real estate" (GMBI).
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin wishes to reassure the taxpayers of the territory who do not have to comply with this reporting obligation as long as their property is located in Saint-Martin.
