Cultural immersion for American students

0

A group of students from Tulane University in New Orleans spent two weeks in Saint Martin to take courses in cultural anthropology. These young people, from different regions of the United States, visited several essential sites such as Fort Louis in Marigot, the territorial archives in Concordia or the Loterie Farm in Pic Paradis. They also met artists like Roland Richardson, personalities and elected officials, including the president of the Community Daniel Gibbs. Among their activities, the students worked in the gardens of Bellevue, under the supervision of Jah Bash in order to expand their knowledge on the cultivation of plants, fruits, vegetables and medicinal herbs. _EH
