Eight new cases of Covid-19 imported by air to Guadeloupe

Like last week, during the weekly assessment of the Regional Health Agency, new imported cases were recorded in Guadeloupe.

So, for the week of June 19 to 26,  8 new imported cases (passengers arriving by plane) were recorded, bringing to 182 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR tests in Guadeloupe.

According to the ARS, since Saturday June 19, 1 tests have been carried out in the city and at the hospital, with a total number of 339 tests carried out in the territory.

If last week, there were no resuscitation patients, at the Guadeloupe teaching hospital, two Guyanese patients were transferred last Wednesday.

With the resumption of commercial flights to Guadeloupe and the reopening of Orly airport, vigilance remains essential.
