The organizers of the Sint Maarten Heineken Regatta are on the bridge to set up the 40th edition of this "Serious Fun" regatta which is always enjoying increasing success with sailors from the Caribbean and around the world. The 40th Heineken Regatta will take place from March 5 to 8, 2020, and registration is already open…!
On the occasion of this anniversary, the organizers will focus on the management of the regatta which has grown considerably over the past two years. The comments and information, gathered over the years from the crews, have made it possible to improve the various actions implemented during the competition.
If the 2019 edition saw the participation of 115 boats, the organizers wish to exceed this number in 2020 and invite sailors to come in numbers to participate in this unique event on the island.
The Sint Maarten Heineken Regatta would not be as “Serious Fun” without the superb concerts that dot the evenings after the race. Regatta officials see music as a wonderful way to unite participants and the public during concerts where local, regional and international artists perform.
