Indeed, for this 2019/2020 season, rhythmic gymnastics will be born in the heart of our island, a new discipline for Saint Martin's youth which will be practiced at Bellevue and Hope Estate.
A few places are still available at Bellevue (Tuesday) and Hope Estate (Saturday).
Artistic gymnastics, existing since the 2000s, has continued to see the number of its graduates grow each year.
An equipped room is dedicated exclusively to the practice of gymnastics at Hope Estate, next to Sopsa.
ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS - leisure (boys and girls) allows young people to have fun learning acrobatics, or even the desire to turn around a bar, to develop a sense of balance and guts, in short a complete discipline!
A few places are still available, Wednesday at 9 a.m. and 15 p.m. or Monday 14 p.m. and Saturday at 16 a.m.
The Awakening Gym
The Awakening Gym is only intended for toddlers aged 3 to 5 years. Balloons, balls, ribbons and other colored mobiles allow your child to have fun. Between shouts, jumps, the children are having fun for 45 minutes a week.
The sessions take place on a secure course, in the form of games.
A these games are added to the bodily awakening, a playful activity allowing to favor the development of their motor skills, their balance, weightlessness, the address or even the knowledge of its body and its possibilities can be still little known.
Once the “warm-up” is over, the children are invited to participate in various workshops such as jumping, passing over a beam, crawling under a tunnel, climbing, swinging… everything that can allow them to acquire good skills. self-control and a certain agility.
