At the initiative of its president, Stephen Tackling and the club's driving forces, Tashida Irish-Peters, Nicole Piper and many others, FC Marigot is organizing from October 19 to 24 inclusive, on the grounds of the Media Library in Concordia, a large football camp for children aged 3 to 13. A hell of a program awaits young football enthusiasts!

The course will be supervised by Stephen Tackling and Tidjan Konate, both sports educators. About 60 children will be offered a rich and varied program during the six days of this All Saints' Day workshop.

From the age of 3, children will be able to start trying out the joys of football. Small matches with their teammates will improve their motor skills, their attention and learn the first rules of a team sport. Other activities will take place throughout the week. One thing is certain, young aspiring footballers will not have time to be bored! A beach day in Baie Rouge is even planned. Nice!

Futsal, attractive football

The older ones (6 to 13 years old) will be able to devote themselves to a spectacular discipline: Futsal. This practice is a real complement to traditional football, it allows to develop the technical and mental aspect.

In several countries, Futsal is a real religion, as is the case in Brazil or Spain. In these countries, all young people are almost obliged to go through the practice of this sport before playing football because it allows them to acquire better bases.

Futsal effectively allows players to develop technical qualities and skills that will allow them to be more complete to play 11-a-side football.

Ronaldinho, Neymar, Xavi, or even Mohamed Salah: the list of great players who started with futsal shows to what extent this discipline, very formative on the technical level, can be an ideal springboard to become a football star!

And why not you ? See you on Monday, October 19 on the grounds of the Multimedia library. The many technical and fun sessions will follow one another without forgetting the challenges, the tournaments, the 5 against 5, in short a 100% football week! _AF
