Teaching: The ACS ZEPIN Association offers books in English for students in bilingual classes

The ACS ZEPIN association (Cultural and Sports Association Priority Education Zone of the Northern Islands), chaired by Xavier Mirre-Minori, offered books in English for the students of the island's bilingual classes.

It was accompanied by members of the association that President Mirre-Minori formalized the delivery of books in English.

A donation that follows the request of the two educational managers, Joselyne Arnell and Katuscia Hyman, to help them finance their project to endow books in the English language, intended for bilingual classes in the territory.

Thus, there are 41 books, ranging from albums like “Henry's Freedom”, to documentaries like “From Caterpillar to Butterfly”, which make it possible to sweep a wide field of sub-fields taught from kindergarten to cycle 2, which have been purchased.

These books are placed in a briefcase in the national education services of the northern islands, and made available to teachers in bilingual classes.

Thanks to the cultural, sporting and artistic activities open to all, offered throughout the year by ACS ZEPIN, this kind of help in schools and educational establishments on the island can be realized.

The association will resume its activities including guided hikes on the hills of Colombier. Outings which will take place at the end of October and early November, and which will be in small groups, in accordance with the health measures against Covid-19.
