The deadline for filing income tax returns for 2018 was originally set for May 31.

The executive council voted, last Monday, May 27, the postponement of the date of declaration of income tax for the year 2018, income received in Saint-Martin.

This postponement may not exceed 30 days, in accordance with the provisions of article 175 of the general tax code of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, the Executive Council decided to postpone the declaration deadline of May 31 (initial date) to June 30, 2019.

Taxpayers will therefore have until June 30 to send their 2018 income tax return to the Saint-Martin Public Finance Center. A 10% increase will be applied by the state services in the event of filing of declarations tariff after June 30, 2019.
