The agents of the Community's environmental service were recently present in the Agrément district for a major cleaning of the Maccow impasse.
President Louis Mussington and 2nd Vice-President Bernadette Davis responded to the request of the inhabitants of the district and went on site to encourage the teams and reassure the residents of the presence of the community at their side.
The impasse was obstructed by a wild recycling center which has been cleaned up.
As pointed out by Mrs. Bernadette Davis, in charge of the Living environment: “The Collectivity is committed to offering the inhabitants a cleaner island with daily cleaning, but this can only work with the involvement of everyone. Everyone must feel concerned and make an effort! ".
The community recently installed public lighting in this cul-de-sac.
The road will be renovated next year.
Other places of this type will be the subject of a more thorough cleaning, in all sectors of Saint-Martin.
