The restart of waste collection and public domain cleaning services in accessible areas has started since yesterday.
The service providers available were deployed in all the areas accessible since yesterday morning, to collect waste. An additional company was requisitioned to carry out the collection of the bulky remaining on the places of demonstration and to clean the streets in the sectors located between Agrément, Marigot St James and Galisbay. This deployment of cleaning was organized taking into account the blockages still in progress and the companies available to provide these services.
Other measures will be put in place over the next few hours, as the situation evolves, to clean up the neighborhoods. _AF
