Environment: Waste collection: rules to respect!

0

Garbage, bulky and green waste deposits left on public roads generate odor and visual nuisances for residents and tourists who visit our destination.

To precisely avoid these environmental damage, the community of Saint-Martin has set up a waste collection system:

- 7 days a week for household waste

- 5 times a week for bulky items

- 3 times a week for green waste.

The Galisbay-Bienvenue recycling center is open to individuals every day, from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. (except Sundays and public holidays).

The community invites craftsmen, traders and professionals to make their contribution to this system by evacuating their waste as soon as necessary, as required by the regulations.

The illegal dumping of household waste, bulky items and green waste is prohibited by law (Article L. 541-3 of the Environment Code).

The Collectivity of Saint-Martin invites the population to respect the schedules, the days and the places of deposit of the waste and thanks everyone for their citizen contribution to the respect of our common environment.
