Covid-19: Ladom specifies the conditions for the return of overseas students and interns who remained in France

1

In a press release, Ladom explains the arrangements made for the return of overseas students and interns to their island of origin.

Ladom (The Overseas Agency for Mobility) informs overseas students who have had their plane tickets paid for (to hexagonal France) as part of the Passport for Mobility of Studies (PME) and beneficiaries of the Passport for the Mobility of Vocational Training (PMFP), who could not return to their home department due to the state of health emergency, the arrangements made regarding their ticket return.
In order to limit the spread of the virus, the government has taken traffic restriction measures which have led Ladom to temporarily suspend the issue of airline tickets. Thus, most of the students and interns who wanted to join their home department were unable to do so. As part of the deconfinement strategy, the State has decided to support the return of students who wish, in strict compliance with health rules aimed at limiting the spread of Covid-19. This decision also applies to trainees benefiting from the Passport for Mobility in Vocational Training. It is in this perspective that Ladom recalls the conditions for taking charge of the return ticket.
For students, they will benefit from the usual provisions of the Passport for the Mobility of Studies, namely the payment of the plane ticket up to 100% for state scholarship students and up to 50% for non-state scholarship students . Communication with Ladom will only take place through the student's personal space accessible from the following link: https://mobilite.ladom.fr/accueil
For vocational training trainees, their return ticket will be covered 100%.

Mandatory fortnight

In addition, students and interns, all must absolutely respect a fortnight. This obligation will be fulfilled in dedicated structures, either in the return candidate's home territory and directly upon exiting the plane, or, depending on the destinations and return dates available, in the Paris region, before departure. , on the proposal of the administration.
If the fortnight is carried out in the overseas department of origin, the date of the trip will be communicated by Ladom according to the capacity for the period of the fortnight.
If the fortnight is carried out in hexagonal France, the return candidate will be informed of a place of accommodation in the Ile-de-France region. Ladom will give him a train ticket, or provide an alternative means of transport, to allow him to reach the residence of the fortnight, as well as the plane ticket with a departure date at the end of the fortnight. For example, if the fortnight begins on May 10, the flight to the department will be scheduled for May 24. The date of the trip will be communicated to the student or trainee by Ladom.
