Covid-19: The Saint-Martin population (without age limit) may request to be vaccinated in March

0

Since the start of the vaccination campaign on January 13 in Saint-Martin, 337 people have been vaccinated indicates the regional health agency (ARS), 44 new vaccinations are planned this week.

Vaccination continues in Saint-Martin with priority for people over 75 and those over 50 with comorbidities. Health professionals in the broad sense (caregivers of establishments and liberal, administrators of health and medico-social establishments, medical transporters, firefighters) over 50 years of age or with comorbidities are also invited to be vaccinated.

The AstraZeneca vaccine, said to be more classic because it is based on the principle of an inactivated virus and not messenger ARS, will be available on the territory in the coming days for people under 65 years of age. It will be accessible, initially, to health and medico-social professionals and then, in March, to the population via their attending physician or vaccination centers.

The vaccination center is still located at the Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital and receives by appointment from Tuesday to Friday, in the morning and in the afternoon.

The arrangements for making appointments in vaccination centers for priority people and residents of the northern islands are:

- Online registration via the Internet, via the e-RDV platforms chosen by these vaccination centers, on the Santé.fr site;

- Registration via their attending physician;

- Registration via a single call number for our region (Guadeloupe and northern islands) on the platform dedicated to the public and professionals "TAP / RIPOSTE COVID 19" at 05 90 99 14 74 from Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 17 p.m. .
