Covid-19: 88 new cases last week partly in Holland

Authorities on the Dutch side last week confirmed 88 new cases of covid-19, 22 fewer than the week before. The number of contaminations is down for the third consecutive week.

As of Monday, the number of people who have been infected since the start of the pandemic stands at 4, of which 403 are considered to be active cases. 

116 other people are placed in isolation because they have been in contact with people who have tested positive. Six patients are hospitalized in Philipsburg.

Last week two deaths were deplored as well as a third at the weekend; This brings the total number of deaths in Sint Maarten to 69 since March 2020.
