Covid-19: 572 new cases and 15 deaths in September in Dutch part

Authorities in the Dutch side confirmed 110 new cases of covid-19 last week, 17 fewer than the week before.

 This brings the number of people who have been infected since the start of the pandemic to 4. Four deaths were deplored. Friday the number of active cases was 307. Eight patients were hospitalized and 160 people identified as contact cases placed in isolation.

Since mid-September, the rate of contamination has gradually decreased with an average level varying between 100 and 120 against a level between 180 and 200 at the end of August and beginning of September.

Last month, 572 people tested positive compared to 949 in August. Fifteen deaths from covid-19 have been recorded, a total of 66 since the start of the crisis.
