Contraception: new for 15-18 year olds

0

Each year, on July 1, new rules come into force in different areas. In terms of health, concerning contraception, there is something new for minors: medical consultations, biological examinations and any other act relating to access to contraception are now free and anonymous for 15-18 year olds. This progress is part of the social security financing bill (PLFSS) for 2016. The announcement was made last September - on the eve of World Contraception Day - by Marisol Touraine, Minister of Health. As a reminder, for three years, adolescent girls over 15 have had access to contraceptives free of charge. _EH
