The 12th Antilles-Guyana regional cooperation conference took place at the beginning of the month in Guyana. The president of the Tourist Office Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool and the territorial councilor Louis Fleming represented Saint-Martin. During two days, the participants took part in several workshops and forums. As part of the discussions, Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool was invited to speak on the theme of tourism, in particular on development possibilities. Among the main topics, the guests addressed the theme of connectivity. Indeed, the air connections between the islands were considered as obstacles hindering tourism. It was the Minister of Overseas George Pau-Langevin who closed the conference.
