MUSIC COMPETITION: Angelord Blaise big winner of the Voices of Overseas

In the Young Talent category, c t is Eddy Haribou, 17 years old and originally from Mayotte, who wins the first prize. The Overseas Voices competition was created by countertenor Fabrice di Falco and double bassist Julien Leleu with the aim of highlighting the pool of talent present in overseas territories. The two organizers travel from island to island in search of new voices that only need a boost to shine fully. The strength of the Voix des Outre-Mer competition lies in the fact that no age limit applies, the chance is given to everyone. Another feature that makes this competition more and more popular, all musical styles are allowed, thus paying tribute to the musical eclecticism of overseas territories, where the selection phases also take place. Amateurs or confirmed, seventeen finalists performed on stage. The artists were accompanied by the famous pianist Kazuko Iwashima who brilliantly succeeded in taking the public through the different musical universes. If only six candidates were rewarded for their remarkable and remarkable performances, it is good to salute all the participants for having reached the grand final: Pierre-Lou Richeux proudly represented Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélémy, Noémie Collumeau competed for Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Marie-Angélique Marsolle and Maeva Lesi for Guadeloupe, Anny Davidas, Naïly Pignet and Sébastien Tonnel for Martinique, Pierre Olguens Mathieu for Guyana, Chaima Assani and Eddy Haribou for Mayotte, Jennifer Pellagaud and Lylia Aymain for New Caledonia, Clara Bellon, Jessica Morel and Ophélie Noël for Reunion, Laetitia Jullian for French Polynesia, and finally Angelord Blaise for Haiti, who leaves with the Holy Grail after winning over the jury with his interpretation of "Che farò senza Euridice by Gluck.
