The Overseas Voices competition was created by countertenor Fabrice di Falco and double bassist Julien Leleu with the aim of highlighting the pool of talent present in overseas territories. The strength of the Voix des Outre-Mer competition lies in the fact that no age limit applies, the chance is given to everyone. Amateurs or confirmed, seventeen finalists performed on stage. The artists were accompanied by the famous pianist Kazuko Iwashima who brilliantly succeeded in taking the public through the different musical universes.
