0

Last straight line for registrations to the fourth edition of the “Voices des overseas” competition. The closing date for applications will be Saturday May 15.

The Guyanese soprano Marie-Laure Garnier is the best proof that this competition still has wonderful days ahead of it, winner of the first edition in 2019, Marie-Laure won the Victoire de la Musique Classique 2021 in the best revelation category.

To try to join the talented panel of overseas voices, all you need to do is like to sing along and live in overseas or overseas France. Registration is free and the hearings will be by videoconference. The jury will then select the candidates from all the territories regardless of the level of each. After selection, the winners will follow a further training directed by Fabrice di Falco, creator of the competition and himself soprano / countertenor and his team in order to prepare the final rounds of each territory and the final which will be held in Paris. Blessed bread for music lovers from a region where there is hardly any conservatory, this competition is a golden opportunity to make your voice heard ... Registrations are made online via the competition site, to be expected: a photo , a short biography and a video where you perform a piece of your choice all styles. _VX
