The Collectivity wanted to make a point on the collection of household waste for the attention of restaurateurs, more particularly for those located in Grand-Case. As a reminder, during the inauguration of the Mardis de Grand-Case, the organizer Chantal Vernusse had pointed out to the COM that the garbage cans were full and smelly. During this event, "the collective containers are emptied after midnight, the restaurateurs can therefore deposit their waste at the last moment", specifies the COM by press release. "The collection of household waste is always done in the evening" and "it is imperative to respect this operation". Restaurateurs are requested “to deposit their household waste in collective waste bins only after 18 pm. Before 18 p.m., the bins must be kept in your respective premises, so that the waste does not stagnate in the sun and visible to everyone during the day.
