In order to denounce several anomalies, the intersyndicale of the personnel of the school city Robert Weinum deposited yesterday a notice of strike with Camille Galap, the rector of the academy of Guadeloupe. The movement will begin on January 4 at 7 a.m. and will end on January 8 at 17 p.m.
By this action, the intersyndicale wants to show a certain number of irregularities within the establishment, among others, that the science rooms are not in conformity, that the sports field is not finished, that no room of course is not air conditioned and there is no registered nurse. Among their demands, the intersyndicale demands a reorganization of the staggered start of the school year for students and a start of school on January 5.

Following their visit to the site on December 12, the chemistry and SVT physics teachers wished to express their reservations regarding several points to Medhi Boucard, director of education at the Collectivity, and to Frantz Gumbs, principal of the cited.
Regarding the physics laboratory on the first floor of the building, “it is only accessible by passing through a classroom. In the event of a fire or explosion, the technician may find himself trapped inside the laboratory. We urgently request the creation of an access door to the laboratory instead of the window that overlooks the passageway ”.
