French Championship in Biarritz
This year again, several surfers from Saint-Martin will participate in the French championships which will take place on the spot of the large beach in Biarritz, from October 17 to 25.
More than 450 competitors will be competing in Biarritz this weekend for the biggest gathering of the year.
Representatives of the Saint-Martin Surf Club will fly this Saturday to join the rest of the Guadeloupe team in Metropolitan France. The trainer of these young champions, Jean Séb Lavocat, seems a little worried before the start in the Aquitaine region: "the Saint-Martin team is not moving in the best conditions to compete in these championships of France", specifies- he, before adding “we received our confirmation of participation in these French championships late. However, it is not ideal for preparing calmly. Not to mention the lack of waves on the island for the past three months. In short, we are not starting out in the best moods. But rest assured, the young people have gone up like clockwork to make a big move! ”
The Saint-Martin Surf Club team takes this opportunity to thank the Guadeloupe Committee for its participation in travel costs in Metropolitan France.

Course info and discovery of surf & skate and windsurf activity
Two courses organized during the All Saints holidays
Surf course: October 19 to 23 and October 26 to 30. Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 14 p.m. to 16:30 p.m.
Surf discovery course:
Possibility to join the Saint-Martin surf club at the end of the course and to benefit from training and year-round structure.
Windsurf course:
A course of 5 sessions lasting 1 hour to be completed depending on wind conditions.
In the morning between 10 and 12h: guaranteed autonomy at the end of the course. New and high-end material for comfort and learning performance.
