At the initiative of “Orléans Boxing-Club SXM”, a new friendly interclub boxing meeting took place last Sunday on the Thelbert Carty sports area in the Quartier d'Orléans.
The President of the club was delighted with the presence of Marco London, crowned 5 times world champion of kick-boxing! The latter with his team complied with the rules of English Boxing for friendly confrontations against "Orléans Boxing Club" and "ABC Inter Sport". A fine example of brotherhood between lovers of noble art from Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten.
This putting on gloves between young athletes has kept all its promises. Young people like Ricardo and his sister Richellina Beauperthuy aged 15 and 14, also including the two Jacobs sisters as well as the twenty other teenagers and young adults, all appreciated this event. Drinks and a snack were then offered to all.
The next event to come is the inauguration in May of the new English Boxing hall by Philippe Arrendel in the heights of Concordia (Ex-dojo of judo) to whom we wish the best development.
