On Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th December a tournament was held within the SXM Badminton Club at the Sports Hall in Marigot. The competition raged but in a friendly atmosphere!

12 teams were gathered to test the steering wheel (10 adult teams and 3 children's teams).

During these two evenings, the players were able to express their enthusiasm for this sporting discipline in vogue in Saint-Martin and elsewhere! Badminton is a sport of great educational and physical richness where progress is made quickly and which is of great interest to children in terms of motor skills. You must know it…

At the end of the tournament, all the participants were rewarded with prizes generously offered by the merchants of Saint-Martin.

There is no doubt that this first tournament will call for others….
