Authorization to leave the territory compulsory for a minor traveling alone!

0

You have children who travel, the Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin recalls that, since January 15, 2017, any minor living on the national territory and traveling abroad without being accompanied by an adult holder of the parental authority, must be provided with an authorization to leave the territory (AST).

It is a form drawn up and signed by a parent (or legal guardian). The form must be accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document of the signatory parent.

As part of a trip abroad, the minor must be provided with their identity document (national identity card or passport), an authorization to leave the country signed by a holder of parental authority and a photocopy of the identity document of the legal representative who signed the exit authorization. The use of the passport alone is no longer considered sufficient.

The authorization to leave the country will be payable for all minors residing in France, whatever their nationality.
