The Collectivity of Saint-Martin undertook after the devastating passage of hurricane IRMA on September 6, 2017, to open a large burying site for the electricity and fiber networks.
While the burying of the electricity networks is 90% carried out in partnership with EDF, the challenge today is to launch the second phase of burying the fiber optic networks for maximum coverage of the territory and very good access. broadband internet for our fellow citizens.
To carry out this large-scale project and ensure the resilience of the telecommunications networks, the Collectivity has chosen to create, in 2020, the company SAS Tintamarre, of which it is a co-shareholder with the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation (CDC) and Dauphin Telecom.
To allow the deployment of fiber as soon as possible, SAS Tintamarre is responsible for designing and operating a civil engineering infrastructure. Thus, as part of the design component, it first of all launched an operation to identify local civil engineering companies by the sourcing method with the aim of knowing the means and technical expertise available in the area.
SAS Tintamarre issued an invitation to these companies on October 7 to meet them and present them with the landfill project and the future works contract. Of the 21 companies present at this information meeting, 12 responded favorably to the call for skills which consisted in identifying, upstream of the future public contract, their know-how and their means of action.
This large panel of companies, as well as all economic operators in the sector, are invited to respond to the call for tenders for works, which has just been published by SAS Tintamarre on the platform. www.marchés-securisés.fr
The works contract for the construction of underground infrastructures for the installation of FTTX network supports, was effectively launched on December 13, 2020 and comprises three distinct lots:
1 Lot: Construction of underground infrastructures - FTTX network supports on the western part of the territory of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin
2 Lot: Construction of underground infrastructures - FTTX network supports on the northern part of the territory of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin
3 Lot: Construction of underground infrastructures - FTTX network supports on the eastern part of the territory of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin
