Air Caraïbes "facilitates" the PCR test for its passengers heading to the West Indies

Since an RT-PCR virological test for Covid-19 screening is compulsory for all passengers departing from the mainland to the Antilles-Guyana since July 10, Air Caraïbes wanted to simplify their procedures.

It has thus signed a partnership with Biogroup analysis laboratories and the startup Libheros allowing passengers to contact a call center or find a list of laboratories directly online, in order to direct them to one of the 850 laboratories in analysis closest to their home, in Île de France or in the regions.

Passengers thus benefit from the certainty of being able to access screening tests without a medical prescription and without an appointment. To respond quickly to the needs of passengers, Libheros will mobilize nurses from its network.

Upon presentation of the airline ticket or reservation, the examination is fully covered by Health Insurance.

As part of this partnership, the Biogroup analysis laboratories undertake to transmit the results within 24 hours of the sample. This screening before departure thus allows each passenger to save time on the day of departure and to benefit from an accelerated processing procedure at the arrival airport.

The call center number (1 76 21 57 76) and the list of laboratories will soon be available on the company's website: www.aircaraibes.com
