Created in 2001, Initiative Saint Martin Active is an association under the 1901 law, member of the national networks Initiative France and France Active. We financially support the development of local projects by facilitating the creation, takeover or development of businesses in Saint-Martin. For 20 years, and thanks to the support of our financial partners, our action has enabled the emergence of more than 700 companies.
As part of its support, Initiative Saint Martin Active offers to help the future entrepreneur with the support of a sponsor.
The sponsor, who has been an entrepreneur for at least 5 years, a young retiree or an active executive, has the task of supporting a new entrepreneur over several years in his project.
With his expertise and experience in different areas of business management, the mentor helps the entrepreneur to adapt to his new posture.
He advises and supports him in the development of his decision-making capacities in order to create his own professional network. It allows them to come out of isolation, through the contribution of an outside perspective, a relationship of trust and benevolent attention.
The sponsor does not have a technical approach but a generalist vision of the entrepreneurial posture. It helps the entrepreneur to ask the right questions, to move forward and to plan for the growth of his business.
By devoting 1 hour per month to an entrepreneur, the volunteer sponsor contributes to the success of a business and the creation of jobs in its territory. He values his experience and shares it. It is part of a positive network dynamic, local and national, through membership of the Initiative France and France Active community.
