Soualiga College: taste in the spotlight

0

As part of the week of taste, students of sixth and some fifth grades of Soualiga college had last Monday for the first time an educational experience around taste.

According to Ange-Marie Venthou Dumaine, librarian professor at the college, the objective of this event was initially to make sixth grade students aware of this national action, but also to allow them to come together. It was also an opportunity for them to learn new vocabularies such as the names of fruits. For Keriane and Marine, two sixth graders, the experience was very enriching. During this day, the students were divided into groups: for the “bread”, “juice” and “fruit” groups, their mission was to evaluate their work and give comments on the taste; for the “odor” group, they had to identify the fruits with their eyes closed. This experience was an interdisciplinary project, with the participation of several professors. _KL
