HEALTH: Five residents still carrying covid-19 on the island

According to the latest health reports, five people are still carrying covid-19 on the whole of the island, including three in the territory and two hospitalized in Guadeloupe and Martinique.

The Dutch side has two active cases. "We haven't had a new case for 14 daysSaid Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs. However, a resident was recently admitted to St Maarten Medical Center with symptoms of covid-19. A total of 77 cases were confirmed in the Dutch part and 60 people were declared cured.

In the French part, 37 residents were contaminated and 31 were declared cured. Two people remain hospitalized in Guadeloupe and Martinique and one in Saint-Martin.

444 tests were carried out in the Dutch part and 553 in the French part.
