Congratulations to Daphne Paumard-Lemerle, Hugo Lossouarn and Guilhem Raux from Lycée Robert Weinum!

Organized each year by IREM-Guadeloupe, (Institute for Research on the Teaching of Mathematics), the "Antilles Mathematics Rally" has become over the years, a major event. In teams of three, the students compete peacefully on fun exercises whose resolution calls for reasoning skills as well as intuition.

485 teams entered the high school category and underwent the eliminatory tests on Tuesday January 31, 2017.

Three teams from Robert Weinum High School qualified for the grand academic final which took place on Wednesday March 22, 2017 during Math Week.

It turns out that our high school students did not deserve it since the team made up of three pupils of first S2 won the 2nd price of this rally. The other two teams made up of second graders finished tied 25th and 42nd.

Miss Daphné PAUMARD accompanied by her math teacher Ms. Yannick BOUCARD was able, thanks to the financial commitment of her high school, to participate in the award ceremony on Wednesday June 24, 2017 in Guadeloupe and represent her team and her island.
