A very positive and promising result for the ASMT, sports shooting association, represented by 21 shooters, for 22 shots, at the departmental championship of Guadeloupe, with pistol and rifle at 10m., On 19 and 20 Nov. 2016, at the stand of shot from Saint Martin (Anse Marcel - Privilege).
The association, affiliated to the French Shooting Federation and the Guadeloupe League, has existed since 1982 and has almost 180 members. She regularly takes part in departmental, regional and inter-island championships.
A parity of record for this last championship since we count as many female and male medals for St Martin, out of a total number of 67 entered (including 15 women and 52 men)!
Pistol results:
3 gold medals: Tiphaine DAUSSEING (Cadette) / Joëlle DIDIER (Dame 3) / Robert PARISOT (Senior 3).
3 silver medals: Sandrine VERDUSEN (Dame 1) / Fabrice LAVILLE (Senior 2) / Jacky DIDIER (Senior 3).
2 bronze medals: YébaOYENIRAN (Dame 1) / Johann CABANNES (Senior 1).
Rifle results:
2 silver medals: Sandrine VERDUSEN (Dame 1) / HAES William (Senior 1).

The ASMT welcomes shooters with pistols or air rifles and firearms on two approved shooting ranges: the indoor with 17 shooting positions at 10, 15 and 25m. and the outdoor with 10 posts at 10m., 10 posts at 25m., 5 posts at 50m and a zone of sports shooting of speed.
