The Collectivity of Saint-Martin wishes to build a house of associations in Grand-Case at the level of the former Elie Gibbs school located at the corner between boulevard Bertin Maurice and rue des Ecoles. The work consists of reinforcing the existing buildings and creating a set on three levels.
A materials diagnosis, a geotechnical reconnaissance campaign and a study of the new foundations were carried out in 2019 in order to assess the possible construction principles.
Today, the COM wants to bring the project into a new phase. It is thus looking for “an agent for the realization” of the operation which will have an envelope of 3,3 million euros. In particular, the agent will have to carry out the technical studies (integrated management of rainwater, connection to the electricity networks, telephony, etc.) and monitor the construction work, which should last 18 months. The acceptance of the site is scheduled for July 2024, the post acceptance and completion of the guarantee of perfect completion one year later.
