Awards: Innovation Competition (Saint Martin Active Initiative): the 2021 winners in the spotlight!

It was at the Sunset Café Beach-Club, located in Grand-Case that the 6rd edition of the 2021 Innovation Competition, organized by Initiative Saint Martin Active which also celebrated its 20th anniversary in the region.

This year, Initiative Saint Martin Active has chosen the theme ecology and circular economy. Of the twelve applications submitted, seven were accepted. The mobilization of the Initiative Saint Martin Active team and the constitution of an independent jury were the basis of the selection procedure. This is how the jury met on June 11 to assess and reward the best innovative idea for 2021.

Thus, the files of the preselected project leaders were supported by the Initiative Saint Martin Active team for the writing and implementation of the financing plan. They were then rated on 10 points by the jury on their production anonymously.

The 2021 Innovation Competition was funded by Initiative Saint-Martin Active, the Collectivité de Saint-Martin, Crédit Mutuel, the accounting firm GCL, the CCISM, CEPAC Caisse d'Epargne, C2D Consulting facilitator of eco-organization and Dauphin Telecom.

The results of the 6rd edition  of the Innovation competition:

 

Fabienne BEISSEICHE wins the 1st Crédit Mutuel prize 5000 euros, special Eco + C2D Consulting prize 500 euros, breakfast offered by the Sunset Café in Grand-Case.

His project : Provide artisanal sewing lessons based on recycled materials.

Jean-Marc AUBRY obtains the 2nd prize GCL Cabinet d'Expertise 2000 euros, voucher of 70 euros offered by Grand Maison

His project : The integration of people in great difficulty by learning or improving a solar water heater construction activity made with recovered materials for people in precarious situations.

Emmanuel GIMENEZ wins the 3rd CCISM prize 1000 euros

His project : animal reproduction company allowing to considerably reduce the carbon mark.

Roberta HAILLANT, owner of the SM'ART FAXINFO - ART GALLERY in Bellevue with by his side, Noame CHRIFI-ALAOUI and Fabienne LOZANO wins the Special Women Prize CEPAC Caisse d'Epargne 1000 euros

His project : Promote and enhance art and culture on the island, encourage artistic expression, creation and entrepreneurial initiatives by artists, set up artistic bins on the territory along the beaches.

 

Regine Helligar awarded the C2D CONSULTING Audacity Prize 500 euros

His project : Create placemats with the obtaining of the ecological and circular economy label.

Jean-Baptiste GIRAUD and Gwléïna ABRAHAM win the Special Eco Mobilier Prize 500 Euros

Their project: Manufacture of an ecological ashtray holder.

Warren REDERSDORFF and Lucas JAULIN get the Special Young Prize, 2 phones offered by Dauphin Telecom

Their project: Manufacture of a floating platform that can accommodate habitat or other activities.
